Editor, Marketer, Writer, Project Manager
I am a writer and editor of words. I am also an internet marketing professional.
These areas are more closely related than you might think – words are the foundation of how we communicate, whether you want to tell a story, capture history, promote a product, land a job, write a paper, or offer a service.
I began my career as a webmaster before deciding to specialize in content rather than technology. After several years of side projects, I became a full-time freelancer in 2010. I’ve provided a wide range of services in 4 general (but related) areas:

The majority of my professional work has been in the areas of editing and project management. I’ve spent years managing teams of writers who provide marketing content for advertising campaigns, a unique situation that allows me to combine the f service areas above.
I have over 16 years of diverse experience in the corporate and nonprofit sectors, including a music magazine, a citizen journalism site, a women’s health portal, and many independent authors. I’ve enjoyed working with clients of all sizes over the years, but I especially enjoy helping individuals and small businesses/organizations.
In 2019, I started working with a company I loved so much that I decided to return to full-time employment.
As a result, I’m no longer accepting new corporate clients. I now focus on helping individuals and small groups perfect their words and find/reach their audiences. I love to edit fiction and creative nonfiction of all lengths. And if you need help promoting yourself or your projects, I can work with you to create a digital marketing plan, whether that means setting up a website or figuring out a social media plan.
