I’ve been working with author Astrid “Artistikem” Cruz since just after the release of the first book in her series. She’s a hard-working, passionate self-published author and I’ve enjoyed helping bring her stories to a larger audience over the past few years. There are more stories planned for this series, as she’s created an entire world for Scarlett and her entourage, and many more stories for Astrid. She’s also the author of several short stories and The Last Superhero.
The Caregiver Series - Case Study
To any writer, the editing process is a scary one but having someone like Stacia on my side has made a huge difference. She’s not only been my editor but the first reader of much of my work, acting as creative consultant with her insightful advice and incredible attention to detail. Her professionalism along with her charisma makes her the best fit for anyone looking for someone who not only knows what she’s doing but is passionate enough about it to give every job her all.

Torn (Book 2)
When she pulled the trigger on her supervisor, Scarlett thought she was saving the life of the man she loves while at the same time freeing herself from her duties with the Interpol. She couldn’t have been more wrong.
Now a new boss has stepped in, assigning her to a mission that will reveal the truth of her recruitment with the agency and forcing her to fly to Puerto Rico to meet with her grandfather, world famous hit man, Adrian Lang.
For Armand, it’s the perfect wedding destination and an opportunity to help her mend her relationship with her grandfather. For her, it’s an open invitation for both friends and foes from the past to drag her back into the hell she fought so hard to leave behind.
Yet one question troubles her the most: Will her relationship with Armand remain unchanged after her past is exposed?

Stakes get higher as she learns this is more than a government conspiracy but a personal vendetta led by a man scarred by the same two people who made Scarlett’s early years a living hell.
Everyone she loves is in danger and she’s vowed to protect them no matter what. And they’ve vowed to fight by her side in return. What she isn’t counting on is that in love and war, sacrifices must be made.
